Rozelle Darkroom is built on two main principles: connecting the film and darkroom community and keeping film and darkroom craft alive! One of the ways we plan to achieve this is by supporting and teaching interns.
At Rozelle Darkroom we accept 3 interns a year to learn the darkroom craft, the functions of a photography studio and the different dimensions running an art business for free. As well as this, interns will have a free membership to the darkroom and studio while they are interning.
Interns also have the opportunity to shadow one of our members who are professional photographers, owners of art businesses, darkroom professionals.
Expect to challenge your creativity, produce beautiful work, network and learn through experience.
Interns are expected to do one day a week of work/ projects/ tasks for Rozelle Darkroom as well as create one piece of online content a week.
